Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how TradeDash uses cookies and similar browser storage on our website, dashboards and related services (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by TradeDash Limited, company number 9450166. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

"Cookies" are small text files stored on your device by your browser. "Similar storage" includes technologies such as local storage and session storage that a website can use to remember information between pages or visits. In this policy we refer to all of these simply as "cookies".

TradeDash currently uses only essential cookies and similar storage — the ones needed to make the Platform work and keep it secure. Specifically, we use them for:

• Login sessions — keeping you securely signed in as you move between pages so you don't have to log in again on every click.
• Account security — protecting your account and helping detect and prevent fraud, misuse and unauthorised access.
• Saved preferences — remembering basic choices so the Platform behaves the way you expect.
• Core site functionality — enabling essential features such as posting jobs, Trade Partner applications, messaging and dashboards to work reliably.

These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function. Because they are essential, they cannot be switched off through a consent banner without affecting how the site works.

Our payment provider, Stripe, may set its own necessary cookies to process transactions securely and to help prevent fraud. These are set directly by Stripe under its own terms when you make a payment. They support secure checkout and are not used by TradeDash for advertising or tracking.

If you choose to sign in using Google, Google may set its own cookies to authenticate you and maintain your Google session. These are set directly by Google under its own terms and privacy policy, and are necessary for Google sign-in to work. You can avoid these cookies by creating a TradeDash account directly with an email address and password instead of using Google sign-in.

TradeDash does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to follow you across other websites. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will present a consent banner and controls before those cookies load, and we will update this policy first.

You can view, manage and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that because the cookies we use are essential, blocking or deleting them may stop you from staying signed in or prevent parts of the Platform from working correctly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. If we begin using non-essential cookies, we will introduce appropriate consent controls before doing so.
